A Delegation from University of Campinas Visited SUEP

    On the afternoon of October 19th, Marcelo Knobel, president of the University of Campinas, Brazil, Rodrigo Coelho Sabbatini, the vice president of Faculties of Campinas, and other three people came to visit SUEP. Li Mingfu, secretary of SUEP party committee, Li Hexing, president of SUEP, as well as leaders of International Exchange and Cooperation Office, and of such secondary colleges as Automation Engineering College, Computer Science and Technology College, and Electrical Engineering College, attended the event.

    The University of Campinas is one of the most prestigious and powerful science and engineering universities in Brazil. Located in Campinas which is known as the silicon valley of Brazil, the university undertakes about 15% of scientific research tasks in Brazil, and is one of the country’s leading universities in the number of patents and papers.

    In September, 2018, Li Mingfu first led a delegation to visit the University of Campinas and signed a letter of intent with it and State Grid Brazil Holding CPFL. This return visit by the president of the University of Campinas was to further promote substantive cooperation with SUEP.
