Teachers of SUEP Visited the First Group of Graduates Working in Tibet

    Six students graduating from SUEP in 2017 went to work in Tibet, and they were also the first group of graduates of our school working in Tibet. On April 24th, Zhang Yi, the deputy director of Students' Affairs Office (Recruitment and Employment Office), Chu Jun, the deputy secretary of Party Committee of Electrical Engineering College, Cong Liang, the deputy secretary of Party Committee of International Exchange College visited the State Grid Power Co. Ltd. in Tibet. They were warmly received by leaders of the Human Resources Department of this company. The two sides exchanged ideas on the introduction of college students, working conditions and the cooperation between enterprises and schools. After that, the teachers had a cordial talk with the two graduates Qin Chen and DanZeng Nianzha who respectively worked at Operation Department and Economic Institute of the power supply company in Lhasa. The two graduates expressed their appreciation to the school and thanked the teachers' instructions. They would live up to the teachers' expectations, showing the potentials of SUEP graduates in their own positions.

    On April 26th, Zhang Yi and the other people visited the graduates working as grassroots civil servants in Tibet. The students explained to the teachers in detail the residential environment, living conditions and specific work in Tibet, and shared their experiences and feelings. The teachers praised their courage under hardships and attitude toward grassroots work.
