SUEP Held the 1st Young Scientists’ Forum on Energy Electrocatalysis

Recently, the 1st Young Scientists’ Forum on Energy Electrocatalysis was successfully held in SUEP. Before the vision conference of the 19th National Electrochemical Conference, this Forum was proposed by Academician Sun Shigang of Xiamen University and co-organized by Professor Cai Wenbin of Fudan University and Professor Xu Qunjie of SUEP, and organized by SUEP. The Forum aimed at promoting the development of electrocatalysis in China and the application of electrochemical science and technology in the field of energy.

On the morning of November 30th, the opening ceremony of the Forum was held in the conference room of Executive Building on Changyang campus of SUEP. The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Xu Qunjie, the chairman of the conference, where Academician Sun Shigang made a speech. More than 20 famous experts and young elites gathered together to discuss the development of electrocatalysis and conducted academic exchanges.

Professor Cai Wenbin presided over the closing ceremony, and thanked the SUEP for its meticulous organization to make the conference a success. At the forum, young scientists fully demonstrated the latest research progress and achievements in electrocatalysis in China and discussed in depth about opportunities, challenges and future directions of electrocatalysis. With substantial scientific contents, lively discussion forms and open academic atmosphere, the forum was spoken highly by the participants.
