The Opening Ceremony for 2017 Foreign Students was held on Yangpu campus on the afternoon of October 18th. Li Yanling (deputy secretary of Party committee of SUEP), Xu Guangxin (Party committee secretary of the College of Mathematics and Physics), Jiao Yamin (dean of Marxism College), Zeng Fenyu (director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation) and the main leaders from related functional departments attended the ceremony.
Li Yanling extended a warm welcome to all foreign students on behalf of SUEP. Firstly, she emphasized the significance of the 19th CPC National Congress. Then, she briefly introduced the history and development status of our school. And she also put forward earnest expectations to the students.
